About the Home Inspection
My mission is to provide you with an objective, accurate and thorough inspection of the condition of the home.  I perform a non-intrusive, visual analysis of the condition of installed systems and components of the house.  I identify those systems and components that are defective, affect the habitability of the property, do not perform their intended function, or may propose a danger or risk of personal injury.
The Home Inspection Covers the Following Areas & Systems:
Roof:  roof coverings, ventilation system, exposed flashing, chimneys, and skylights.
Exterior:  wall surfaces, trim, soffit, flashing, gutters, downspouts, windows, doors, porches, and railings.
Grounds:  drainage, lot grading, driveway, sidewalks, decks, and patios.
Electrical:   main service, main panel, branch wiring, grounding of the system, lights, switches, and receptacles.
Heating:   operation of the system, cabinet, burner, elements, fan, filter, fuel lines, thermostat, distribution, and venting system.
Cooling:   operation of the system, cabinet, compressor, coils, fan, condensate system, and refrigerant lines.
Plumbing:   supply pipes, main shut-off, waste pipes, cleanout, water heater, faucets, sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers.
Interior:   walls, ceilings, floors, trim, stairs, railings, cabinets, countertops, laundry hook-ups, and fireplace.
Garage:   garage door, automatic door open, fire separation protection from house.
Foundation:   structural foundation walls, structural framing, insulation, ventilation, drainage system, and vapor barrier.
Attic:   structural framing, insulation, ventilation, electrical wiring, vent pipes, and chimney flues.
